Abstract:
The present invention discloses a fully Adjustable "swing" accessory which can install on any swing frame size and let people swing without help of another person. this apparatus will attach on the top of swing frame and also to the chains of the swing. a rope and a handle attached to this apparatus would be available to pull by the user. by pulling the handles attached to the rope, user can swing and enjoy without need of another person to push the swing. this invention helps children to swing without help of their parents, it let paralysis people swing and enjoy independently, also it would be helpful for aged people because they can swing and exercise at the same time.

CLAIMS

1. An adjustable swing accessory which can be install on any ordinary swing type and size and let the user swing just by pulling down a handle attached to this device has been provided to make swinging independently possible for everyone, especially to the kids, paralytics, and aged people.

2. This adjustable accessory according to claim 1 turns any ordinary swing into a swing that can swing independently without help of anyone else except the main user or any kind of electric or combustion motor.

3. This adjustable accessory according to claim 1 is easy to install and use for an ordinary person

4. This adjustable accessory according to claim 1 is applicable and can be produce industrially and it is also affordable

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

This invention is related to DEVICES FOR PUBLIC AMUSEMENT and more particularly, to SWINGS, an “adjustable swing accessory” for users to make swinging possible without help of others.

TECHNICAL PROBLEM

Due to the fact that the swing is one of the oldest and most popular means of play and entertainment, but throughout history this popular device has not changed much. Swinging is an enjoyable activity to children and adults; it is also a relaxing activity to spend time for aged people, since the invention of the swing, when it comes to swinging there is one problem; the paraplegic user can’t swing; as they can’t move their legs, they need another person to push the swing, it is also hard for children to swing without help of another person; that’s why parents always should be there for them. It is a pleasure to swinging as an old person but it is hard for them to move their body like a young person, furthermore, they don’t want to swing so fast, they need to swing slowly; it could get much more beneficial to their body if they do warm-up exercise while entertaining themselves with swinging. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Swings have been made since 476 BC and it has been not changed significantly yet. The “swing” structure is simple: rope or chain, seat plate, and a tree branch or a frame structure to hang from. There has not been done much innovation in this field, swinging is 100% about human pleasure, then why not making it even more enjoyable and simple. Let’s look at other related inventions in this field:

U.S. Pat. No. 1 ,748,353 shows a "swing" structure is made to make "swinging" simple, by giving the user the ability to pull a handle and swing. But the whole system should be made this way and it can’t be applied to ordinary swings it will cost the customer to buy whole package and it takes much more material to made. Also, the inventor had not considered proper handle mechanism to sudden movements and stops, that makes it unpleasant to use.

U.S. Pat. No. 6,368,227 B1 shows a method of swinging on a swing. This patent shows how to swing side to side motion only using the chains without leg movement. As the patent shows we can swing just by pulling and pushing the chain or rope, and the inventor even find it more exciting to swing side to side with this method. But an ordinary person needs to be skilled at this method and a child or paralytic person may find this activity hard to do. U.S. Pat. No. 9,371 ,026 A shows a genius way to swing with little amount of energy. The design is fabulous and mind blowing but it cost user much for the “swing” which is only for pleasure and nothing more. It can’t be applied to available and common “swings”. So practically it will not be a common device to use for usual people.

U.S. Pat. No. 1 ,369,747 and U.S. Pat. No. 5,413,298 show kind of swings mount and swings clamp that can be hanged from door frame and it is a good way to entertain the kids at the home. But it does not provide a good solution for kids to swing without help of their parent or siblings.

U.S. Pat. No. 1 ,538,828 shows a novel system for swings that children can use the rope to swing and rotate but we can notice that it is a really dangerous system and again it is not appliable on regular swings.

U.S. Pat. No. 1 ,238,920 and U.S. Pat. No. 1 ,228,694 shows systems that can swing only by pulling the rope attached front of hanging point of swing. But as you can see there would be need of front ceiling space to apply these systems on swing structure and if there is no extra metal sheet or any hangable part in front of the swing top bar then these systems can’t be applied on regular swings. Also, these systems make it hard to sit down on the seat plate. There are even more patents like these two that using the same system and have the same problems too. The biggest problem of these similar patents is that u can’t attach them to the normal swings in the parks and homes. They need much bigger space and other objects to work properly. They will not provide a complete package to ordinary user’s swings. The user should buy the whole swing which is not affordable.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

This invention provides an affordable solution to swing much easier and much more fun. By attaching this accessory to all the swing size and type the user not only can enjoy the pleasure of swinging without help of others but also can use less energy and body movement to swing. This invention is unique because it does not need any other object to operate, it can be attached to all the swings available with any forms. It consists of 9 parts: a steady part, moving part, extendable arms, clips, spring, nut and bult, rope, handle, pulley, it does not need to have special knowledge to assemble and install it on ordinary swings, due to extendable arms as soon as attaching this apparatus on any kind of swing the user can operate it and see the benefits, this apparatus does not threaten the fingers of children and it does not make problem for sitting on the swing as the whole device will install on top of the swing, it is not heavy so it makes it much more portable, user can use it even on swings hanged from trees, the user only needs a wrench to install it. it is simple, light weight, portable, attachable on any type of swings, by fastening the steady part on top of swing bar and attaching the moving part to the steady part, attaching the extendable arm clips to chains or ropes, attaching the rope to the steady part spring and pass it through moving part holes and pulleys and also attaching the handle at the end of rope, the old swing will change to an easier and much more fun version, it let the user to use upper body power to swinging also it help the user to independently swing with less effort, user only need to pull the handle and the swing will start swinging, as it contains a spring in steady part, the swing will start and stop smoothly thus it does not hurt the user’s hand and makes swinging more pleasurable, there’s no need to change how swing operate or any other change to frame of swing, no matter if its old or new. moving part has a 60-degree slant lever handle that by pulling the rope that has been passed through its holes and pulleys, attaching point would play the role of Lever support, the rope forces the lever handle to rotate clockwise toward steady part, thus the swing start to move because supporting ropes or chains has been attached to the moving part clipping by extendable arms. No one has ever invented an attachable apparatus for regular swings before, to make swings more useful and joyful.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to the drawings in detail, particularly to FIG. 1 , it shows an ordinary "swing" structure and the invented apparatus assembled on the right place on the swing. 8 is A-frame swing structure, 2 is the swing top bar that the swing hang on it, 14 is the chain that connect the top bar and the swing seat, 1 is the steady part of invention and 12 is the steady part lever, 13 is lever support and also the point that moving part would attach to, 4 is the moving part lever, 15 is the hole of the moving part , 6 is the spring that avoid rough movements, 3 is a rope that attach to spring 6 which is connected to the lever of moving part 4 then the rope passed through the holes of moving part 15 and steady part lever 12 and then pass through the pulley 9 and attach to the handle 10, 9 is the pulley that guide the rope to be available to the user, 5 is the arm, 7 is the extendable arm which can be stretched to be the same size as chains distance, 11 is the clip that clips the chains to the arms, 10 is the handle which by pulling it system starts to move.

OPERATION OF THE INVENTION

The user should fasten the steady part 1 to the top bar of swing, then attach the moving part 4 to the steady part 13, clips the extendable arms 11 to the chains of the swing 14, attach the spring 6 to the moving part lever 4 and attach the rope to it and then pass it through the holes 15 and then pass it through steady part lever 12 and pass it through the pulley 9 and attach the handle 10. by pulling the handle down, the rope will pull the lever of moving part 4 through lever of steady part 12. as the attaching point is between two parts it makes the movement of moving part rotational, as the moving parts start rotating around the attaching point 13 then the arms which had been clipped to the chains 14 moves forward. The spring 6 damp the rough pulling and turn it to smooth move, as the swing start to swinging, the swing would take back the balance so it rotates back. By repeating this process cycle user can swing just by pulling the handle after every moving back of the swing.

Conclusion this is a useful invention which can be install on playground swings, rehab center swings, nursing home swings, ordinary home yard swings or even picnic swings and turn them to more joyful and beneficial device and independent of needing another person's pushing. It helps paralytics and kids to enjoy swinging independently and also motivate old people to exercise while swinging joyfully by pulling down the handle and strengthen their hand muscles. It is affordable and due to the light weight and simple and safe mechanism everyone can use it.
