Abstract:
Provided is a technology with which welding defects can be suppressed. An electrical resistance welded steel pipe welding management device (100) comprises: a pre-electrical resistance welding edge temperature detection unit 122 that detects, on the basis of information of a temperature distribution in the thickness direction of an edge part on at least one side of an open pipe, an outer surface temperature T0, an inner surface temperature Ti, and a thickness center temperature Tc of the edge part; an edge temperature difference calculation unit 125 that calculates a temperature difference ΔT between the outer surface temperature T0 and the inner surface temperature Ti; a V convergence point extraction unit 133 that extracts, on the basis of image information of a region which includes both edge parts and a welding point of the open pipe, two straight lines which converge along the edge part and a V convergence point which is an intersection of the two straight lines; a V convergence angle calculation unit 134 that calculates a V convergence angle θ; a narrow gap length calculation unit 135 that calculates a distance from the V convergence point to the welding point as a narrow gap length L; and a welding state determination unit 141 that determines whether an electrical resistance welding condition is satisfactory on the basis of information of ΔT, Tc, θ, and L.
