Abstract:
A method for receiving a signal by a terminal in a wireless communication system according to an example of the present disclosure may comprise the steps of: receiving, from a network, a discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration including information on a first DRX cycle for low power-wake up radio (LP-WUR) of the terminal; performing radio resource management (RRM) measurement through the LP-WUR on the basis of the first DRX cycle in a first mode in which main radio (MR) of the terminal is deactivated; and determining, on the basis of a result of the RRM measurement, whether to switch to a second mode in which the MR is activated, wherein the first DRX cycle for the LP-WUR is configured to be different from a second DRX cycle for the MR, and the terminal determines to switch to the second mode on the basis that the number of failures of the RRM measurement through the LP-WUR exceeds a threshold value in the first mode.
