Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a positioning method and a related apparatus, which can configure geofences for a plurality of indoor areas (such as garages, tunnels, and caves). When a navigation and positioning module on an electronic device is not enabled, if the electronic device detects an entry into the geofence of a specified indoor area and the electronic device being in a vehicle-mounted state, the electronic device can start navigation and positioning and initiate continuous positioning; and when detecting parking, the electronic device acquires a parking position. In this way, when identifying an upcoming entry into the geofence of the indoor area, the electronic device can automatically start navigation and positioning, so as to obtain a real-time position of the electronic device within the indoor area.
