The invention relates to collagenfree cosmetic preparations obtained by crosslinking water-blown aqueous suspensions of cationic biopolymers, optionally in conjunction with polyols, with diisocyanates and/or dialdehydes and subsequently dehydrating the resulting preparation. Said preparation are specially suitable for producing face and hand moisturizing masks.
