Abstract:
A pharmaceutical composition containing as active agent at least one compound selected among the group consisting of formula (I) and formula (II) and further containing at least one pharmaceutically acceptable acid. The active agent is preferably in the form of particles having a particle size smaller than 200 mu m and a mean particle size of greater than 10 mu m. The pharmaceutical compositions according to the invention are stabilized with at least one pharmaceutically acceptable acid. The pharmaceutical compositions are particularly useful for treatment of opportunistic infections in persons with compromised or suppressed immune systems, and in treatment of infections of trematodes.
