Abstract:
The invention relates to an aqueous bleaching agent for use as a laundry pretreatment agent. The aim of the invention is to solve the problem of hydrogen peroxide waste occurring when the agent is poured onto soiled textiles and the increased oxidant load on the textiles resulting from the use of pretreatment agents containing peroxide. This objective is essentially achieved by providing an agent having a viscosity of between 200 and 5,000 mPa, containing between 0.2 and 25 weight % hydrogen peroxide, up to 5 weight % complex forming agents for heavy metals, up to 15 weight % of a surface-active agent, up to 0.1 weight % free-radical scavengers and between 55 and 90 weight % water, as well as a thickening system consisting of between 0.1 and 3 weight % electrolyte and between 0.05 and 1 weight % of a hydrophobically modified polyurethane.
