A patient's chair for gynecological and urological examinations, comprising a seat (16), a backrest (20) and a holder (34) for a roll (36) of striplike, interchangeable covering material (38) that covers the seat (24) and backrest (20) at least partially. The roll holder (34) is arranged on the rear side of the backrest (20) and a slit (40) is formed in the backrest (20) enabling the strip of material to pass therethrough.
