Abstract:
A restraining device suitable for detachably restraining at least one person against a holder of for example a car, an aeroplane or an amusement device. The restraining device comprises a collar (4) forming a closed ring, which in use is positioned at least partially near the neck side and at least partially near the chest side of the person to be restrained. The collar is adjustably connected to the holder, and comprises at least two collar parts (30, 31) which are pivotally interconnected by means of a pivot pin (32) near the neck side or near the chest side and which can be interlocked near the chest side or near the neck side by means of a locking mechanism (39).
