Abstract:
The invention concerns a method for applying on a canal filling instrument (2) called condenser, comprising a twist and arranged on a handpiece (3), a filling product (1), such as gutta-percha or the like, in the form of a paste, to be inserted in a dental canal using said canal filling instrument (2). The filling product (1) is in the form of at least a dose (4) provided each in a cartridge (5), each dose (4) corresponding substantially to the amount required for treating and filling a single canal, the canal filling instrument (2) being dipped, in rotation or at rest, in one of said cartridges (5) containing one dose (4) of filling product (1) so as to collect on one of its walls just the required amount of product. The invention also concerns a device (6, 6) for providing a filling product (1) comprising means for bringing to or maintaining at the desired temperature at least one cartridge (5, 5) containing filling product (1) in the form of a dose (4) corresponding substantially to the amount required for treating and filling a single canal. The invention further concerns a cartridge for implementing the inventive method.
