Abstract:
The invention concerns a mechanical cabinet comprising a frame (20) and several identical mobile parallelepiped storage racks (22) arranged inside the frame, comprising first driving means, including two first endless chains (32) with controllable unwinding arranged on either side of the frame, capable of moving the top (22f) and bottom (22c) racks horizontally, second driving means, comprising two pairs of endless chains (38, 44) with controllable unwinding arranged on either side of the frame, capable of moving the racks vertically, and displacing means (50) enabling any one of the top (22f) or bottom (22c) racks to roll or slide on the upper surface of the adjacently lower racks (22e, 22a) and on the floor (24) of the frame respectively.
