Abstract:
The invention relates to a housing (2), notably a butterfly valve housing of a butterfly valve body, which can be closed off by a lid (9). According to the invention, both the housing (2) and lid (9) are made of a plastic material and after assembly are irreversibly joined together so as to achieve absolute tightness and manipulation resistance.
