Abstract:
The handpiece (3), for a dental or surgical instrument, has a rotating component (12) and especially a turbine rotor (15a). The rotating component is supported by a roller bearing (21), and especially a miniature roller bearing, with at least two rows of rollers. The axial gap between the rows of rollers is greater than the mean diameter of the rollers (22) in one or both rows. The inner or outer race ring (23,25) has two ring sections axially behind each other.
