Abstract:
Digital logic unit comprises a plurality of logic cells (19, 26) that have configurable properties and a memory (13) with a number of micro-programs (14, 16) that contain information on the functionality of the logic cells. At least one of the micro- programs can be re-programmed for a certain application at least for the current operation of the logic unit. Means are provided for selecting at least one micro-program and for configuring logic cells corresponding to the functionality information of the selected microprogram for at least the current process of the logic unit.
