Abstract:
When stringing up yarn (36) on a texturing machine at start-up, the yarn is taken from the last roll (16) to a guide tube (18) fitted with an injector (19) and projected to a suction device (25). From there it is then picked up by the empty package sleeve (23). The exit (27) of the guide tube (18) can be moved (30) to different positions to facilitate transfer. The end section (31) of the tube can be elastically flexible or telescopic. An Independent claim is also included for the process of starting up a texturing machine that includes projecting the yarn directly from the tube exit (27) to the suction device (25) and then moving the yarn into the plane of the yarn traverse guide (37) so that it is entrained. It is also placed on the finish applicator (38).
