Abstract:
The invention relates to a rail vehicle comprising a body (1) and a chassis (2). A doorway (3) is provided on a front face of the body (1) and a coupling frame (4) that is at least connected to the body (1) is located at a distance from said body (1) in front of the doorway (3) with bellows (5) arranged between the coupling frame (4) and the body (1). A coupling device (6) for automatically coupling rail vehicles is connected to the chassis (2) and the coupling frame (4) is mounted on the coupling device (6) so that it can rotate about a substantially horizontal axis (A) that is parallel to the doorway (3) and the coupling frame (4) is hinged on the body (1) so that it is vertically displaceable.
