Abstract:
The cap consists of a base with a fixing section (12) for joining it to the product container, and an orifice (11) for dispensing the product. the orifice is closed by a hinged top (20) with a central stopper (210), and has a first use indicator in the form of a projecting tongue (25) that is held in a recess (15) under a detachable ring (3) when the container is supplied. Once the top has been opened by breaking off the ring or pulling the tongue over it, the tongue cannot be reinserted as it flexes in one direction only. The base and cap can be injectiion moulded in one piece from a plastic material, with the tongue made in a different colour for good visibility.
