To provide a washer/drier by which assemble workability in a producing step and serviceability are enhanced and which is equipped with a heat pump device in which a number of parts such as attached members are reduced.
In the washer/drier equipped with an outer tank 3 inclined so as to rise forward and supported within the casing 1, an inner tank rotatably supported within the outer tank 3, the heat pump device constituted by connecting a compressor 41, a radiator 32 radiating the heat of a compressed coolant, a throttle means reducing the pressure of the high-pressure coolant, and a heat absorber 30 in which the decompressed coolant takes the heat from the surround by means of a tubular path such that the coolant circulates, a heat exchanging air path 31 housing the heat absorber 30 and the radiator 32, and a blower means 12 for blowing air to the heat exchanging air path 31, a heat pump unit is constituted by integrating the heat absorber 32, the heat radiator 32, and the compressor 41 along with the heat exchanging air path 31, the heat pump unit is arranged in the space within the casing 1 below the back face of the outer tank 3.
