Abstract:
The device has a sensor for determining rotational speed of front wheels of a vehicle to determine the speed of the vehicle. A central calculation unit (11) has a low speed calculation unit (20) for calculating a steering lock angle of rear wheels based on the speed (V) of the vehicle, steering lock angle value (A av) of the front wheels and engaged gear ratio value of the vehicle during a backward movement of the vehicle. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a vehicle having a steering lock device (B) a method of controlling steering lock of rear wheels of a motor vehicle.
