Abstract:
An installation for transferring a load between a load transfer platform and, in particular, a transport vehicle. The load transfer platform includes a transfer path on which a load can be positioned by at least one load supporting transfer element. This load supporting transfer element can by axially moved along the transfer path by a motor carriage that can be coupled to the element. The carriage can be displaced in a to-and-fro manner by a transmission connected to a motor element for enabling it, during the displacement thereof, to alternately push and pull the element and the load thereof according to the transfer operations to be carried out. This installation includes at least two load supporting transfer elements and each load supporting transfer element is provided in the form of a longitudinal member that can be coupled to the carriage.
