Abstract:
The implant is assembled of two outer plates (21, 22) and a central core (20) varying in dimensions according to the particular patient. The outer plates (21, 22) are provided with flanges (24, 28) at their back to be inserted into complementary spaces (12) at the holding element. The holding element is fitted with four cylindrical stands and two openings (12) of different sizes for the accommodation of differently shaped implants. Inner steps (17) facilitate the use with an even wider variety of implants.
