Abstract:
Colored organopolysiloxanes (I) are new. Colored organopolysiloxanes (I) comprising units of formula (Ia) are new. R 1> a(RO) bA cR 2> dSiO x (Ia) R, R 1>H or optionally substituted hydrocarbyl; R 2>substituted hydrocarbyl; A : a water-soluble organic dye bonded to (Ia) through a triazine ring, or a metal complex of such a dye; a, b, d : 0-3; c : 0-2; x : (4-a-b-c-d)/2; provided that a+b+c+d : 3 or less, that (I) has at least one A group per molecule, and that d is zero when c is nonzero. An independent claim is also included for a process for preparing (I).
