Abstract:
The present invention relates to the use of acetyl L-carnitine, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, for the prevention of the adverse effects, such as osteoporosis, weight gain and edema, due to the use of PPAR-gamma agonists selected from the group consisting of spirolaxine or a glitazonederivative selected from the group consisting of roglitazone, pioglitazone androsiglitazone.
