Abstract:
The present invention is concerned with a hydroelectric turbine which includes a stator and a shaftless rotor housed for rotation within the stator, the stator defining a channel provided with bearings in which the rotor is retained and which channel is dimensioned to permit the rotor to undergo both rotation about its longitudinal axis and a simultaneous displacement along the circumference of the channel.
