Abstract:
An elastic vehicle tyre (14) with a cavity (20) enclosed by a tread strip (17) supporting the tread (18) and sidewalls (19,19.1) adjacent to this on both sides shows a foam insert (15) connected to the inside of the tread strip (17). The side walls each carry a bead disposed at the free end to fit around the flange of the rim of wheel. The foam insert (15) partly fills the cavity (20) and serves a dampening function. At least one heat dissipation insert is arranged between the foam insert and the inside of the tyre close to the tread strip or embedded in this foam insert is disposed partially extending over the width of the tread strip to remove heat from this area and extends towards the side wall, in which area the heat can radiate from the heat dissipation insert into the cavity.
