Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a fuel system such as a high-pressure fuel pump and a high-pressure fuel pipe or the like by an intake system even when a collision object intrudes, without increasing a length of the high-pressure fuel pipe.SOLUTION: A high-pressure fuel pump 11 for delivering a fuel to a cylinder injection valve 18 through a high-pressure delivery 33 disposed at a rear side of an intake system, is disposed at a lower side of a cam shaft 36 (extension portion 37), and the high-pressure fuel pump 11 is disposed near the cylinder injection valve 18 (high-pressure delivery 33) to shorten the high-pressure fuel pipe 30.
