Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polyimide belt consisting of two layers which are laminated and have electric resistances different from each other, by using one kind of a coating liquid.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a polyimide belt having a two-layer structure includes: a first layer coating process (1) of forming a first layer coated film by coating and flow-casting a coating liquid made of a polyimide precursor solution dispersed with a conductive agent into an inner surface of a die; a first layer drying process (2) of obtaining a dry coated film by removing a solvent contained in the first layer coated film; a second layer coating process (3) of forming a second layer coated film by coating and flow-casting the coating liquid having the same composition as that of the aforementioned coating liquid, on the surface of the first layer dry coated film; a second layer drying process (4) of obtaining a dry coated film by removing the solvent contained in the second layer coated film; and a calcination process (5) of heating and causing a laminated layer body essentially consisting of the first layer and second layer dry coated films to be completely made of polyimide. When the maximum temperature in the first layer drying process is denoted by Tand the maximum temperature in the second layer drying process is denoted by T, T>T.
