Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard film hardly adhering to a soft metal, which is a hard film suitable for contact with a soft metal, for example, coating on a mold surface.SOLUTION: A hard film excellent in adhesion resistance is constituted of metal elements containing two or more elements selected from a group comprising Ti, Al and Cr, and nonmetal elements comprising only O (oxygen) or O and C and/or N, wherein the ratio of O occupied in the whole nonmetal elements is 0.2 or higher in terms of the atomic ratio.
