Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a shift in fold in a thickness direction of a booklet held by a holding member for various post-processing.SOLUTION: A post-processing device comprises: support members (161, 162) which are inserted along a fold of a booklet (B) having been folded in the middle so as to support the booklet (B); a pair of holding members (171, 172) which are arranged across a paper surface of the booklet (B) supported by the support members (161, 162), and come close to each other to hold the booklet (B); and a post-processing mechanism which performs post-processing on the booklet (B) held by the holding members (171, 172). Then the pair of holding members (171, 172) hold the booklet (B) while moving, relatively to the booklet (B), away from a fold (F) of the booklet (B) in a direction (vertical direction in Fig.) perpendicular to both a holding direction of the booklet (B) and an extending direction of the fold (F).
