Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas engine system capable of improving the responsiveness to a change of a load.SOLUTION: The gas engine system includes a gas engine body 11 for combusting mixed gas of air and fuel gas supplied to a main combustion chamber 15, a mixed gas flow path 20 for supplying the mixed gas to the main combustion chamber 15, a fuel gas storage part 60 storing injection fuel gas having a higher pressure than the mixed gas distributing in the mixed gas flow path 20, and connected to the mixed gas flow path 20, and a fuel addition on-off valve 65 for sealing the injection fuel gas in the fuel gas storage part 60, and for supplying the injection fuel gas from the fuel gas storage part 60 into the mixed gas flow path 20, when being in an ON-state.
