Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device configured not to lower the productivity in tab formation by simplifying the construction and also reducing the operation time.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device includes: sheet transport means 11, 12 for transporting a sheet; perforation means 49 for perforating a sheet; sheet leading edge detection means PS1 and sheet trailing edge detection means PS2 which are respectively disposed to detect the leading edge and the trailing edge of the sheet in the transport direction transported toward the perforation means; and a control part where the sheet leading edge detection means and the sheet trailing edge detection means are connected to the input side, and the sheet transport means and the perforation means are connected to the output side. The perforation means is provided with perforation parts 49A1, 49A2 disposed at a plurality of portions along the sheet transport direction. The control part locates a preceding sheet and a subsequent sheet in the perforation means according to the trailing edge detection for the preceding sheet and the leading edge detection for the subsequent sheet, and then conducts the perforation processing simultaneously for the trailing edge of the preceding sheet and the leading edge of the subsequent sheet.
