Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal collar for induction heating deposition capable of being manufactured at a low cost, and a protective case for an electronic component using the same.SOLUTION: A metal collar 30 includes a cylindrical collar body 31 having a notch at one place in a circumferential direction, and a welding part 33 connecting opposite parts 32, 32 opposite to each other in the circumferential direction in the collar body 31. The metal collar 30 is formed by welding both end parts 40A, 40A with each other that are abutted in the circumferential direction of a sheet metal 40 molded in an annular shape. The metal collar 30 is deposited to the inside of a bolt insertion hole 13 formed in a fitting piece 12 of a synthetic resin-based protective case 10 for an electronic component, by induction heating.
