Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pipe having high heat transport ability.SOLUTION: A heat pipe includes: a pair of surface layer parts constituting a hollow structure seal closure type vessel; a plurality of inner structure formation parts arranged in the vessel; and coolant enclosed in the vessel. Therein, a liquid phase part and a gas phase part are alternately arranged which are elongated along the longitudinal direction of the inner structure formation parts in the vessel, the gas phase part has a coolant vapor channel constituted with such a space that coolant vapor can move along the longitudinal direction, the inner structure formation part is connected with connection parts disposed in the liquid phase between respective parts of a pair of surface layer parts and the inner structure formation part, the liquid phase part has a groove-like coolant retention area which retains coolant by means of the connection part and the inner structure formation part and is formed such that the coolant can move along the longitudinal direction, and the connection part has a first coolant connection path which performs communication between the coolant retention areas adjacent to each other.
