Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct-acting generation device for directly generating power with a reciprocating movement by moving a piston forward and backward using a low-temperature boiling point medium such as steam.SOLUTION: A direct-acting power generation device 8 according to the present invention comprises: a cylinder unit 10 having a piston 12 and a cylinder 14; a piston rod 20; a direct-acting power generation unit 40; one or more valve units (30L, 30R) having a spool 34 and a valve case 32. The cylinder 14 slidably holds the piston 12, and comprises a left cavity 17L and a right cavity 17R. The piston rode 20 transmits a reciprocating movement of the piston 12 to outside of the cylinder unit 10. The direct-acting power generation unit 40 converts the reciprocating movement of the piston rod 20 into power. The spool 34 slidably arranged in the valve case 32 switches supply and discharge of a working medium to the left cavity 17L and the right cavity 17R at a right driving end DR and a left driving end DL of the piston rod 20.
