Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing device for a toilet lid and a toilet seat capable of continuing to move a toilet lid and a toilet seat as they are even when the resistance acting on the moving toilet lid and toilet seat becomes large and the moving toilet lid and toilet seat stop.SOLUTION: An opening and closing device for a toilet lid and a toilet seat includes detection means capable of detecting the positions of a toilet lid 91 and a toilet seat 92, a driving source 10 capable of transmitting power to the toilet lid 91 and the toilet seat 92, and control means 30 for controlling the driving source 10. The control means 30 controls the driving source 10 so as to move the toilet lid 91 and the toilet seat 92 in a closed direction when it is detected by the detection means that the toilet lid 91 and the toilet seat 92 that have been moved in a closed direction without depending on the power of the driving source 10 have been stopped for a predetermined time or more.
