Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile body in which posture stability during travelling at low speed and during stopping can be easily secured by steering performed by the mobile body itself.SOLUTION: A two-wheel vehicle 1 as a mobile body comprises: a front wheel 4 and a rear wheel 5; and a steering portion 6 for steering the front wheel 4. The steering portion includes: a steering shaft link 13 that rotates together with a second steering shaft line 11 around a first steering shaft line 10; a front wheel support portion 14 that supports the front wheel 4 and rotates around the second steering shaft line 11; and a first motor 15 that rotates the steering shaft link 13. A caster angle θ regarding the first steering shaft line 10 is positive or 0 and a trail length t1 regarding the second steering shaft line 11 is positive. When the two-wheel vehicle 1 is in a reference posture condition on a grounding face 12, an intersection point P3 between the second steering shaft line 11 and the grounding face 12 is positioned ahead of an intersection point P2 between the fist steering shaft line 10 and the grounding face 12.
