Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time recorder whose manufacturing cost is reduced.SOLUTION: A time recorder includes: a motor; a roller for conveying a card; a carrier mounting a printing head for performing printing on the card; a first drive mechanism for driving the roller; a second drive mechanism for driving the carrier; a transfer mechanism moving, according to a rotation direction of the motor, between a first position at which a power of the motor is transferred to the first drive mechanism and a second position at which a power of the motor is transferred to the second drive mechanism; and a lock mechanism for locking the transfer mechanism at the first or second position.
