Abstract:
Amine compounds (I) are new. Amine compounds of formula (A-[NH-CH 2-C(R 1>)(R 2>)-CH(R 3>)-X] a) (I) are new. A : an amine after the removal of a primary aliphatic amino group; a : 1-6, provided that, when a is 1, then A is at least one reactive group comprising primary or secondary amino groups, OH, mercapto or silane groups; either R 1>, R 2> : 1-12C-monovalent hydrocarbyl; or R 1>R 2> : 4-12C-divalent hydrocarbyl, where a part of the divalent hydrocarbyl is an optionally substituted 5-8, preferably 6 membered carbocyclic ring; R 3> : H, alkyl, arylalkyl or alkoxycarbonyl; X : X1a-X1d; X1a : OR 4>; X1b : -O-C(=O)-R 5>; R 4> : H or 1-20C-hydrocarbyl optionally containing at least one heteroatom, preferably oxygen in the form of ether, carbonyl or ester; R 5> : H, 1-20C-hydrocarbyl optionally containing at least one heteroatom, preferably oxygen in the form of ether, carbonyl or ester; X1c : -N(R 6>)-C(=Y 1>)-R 7>; Y 1> : O or S; either R 6> : 1-10C-alkyl, 1-10C-cycloalkyl, 1-10C-arylalkyl or 1-10C-acyl; and R 7> : H or 1-20C-monovalent radical comprising alkyl, cycloalkyl, arylalkyl, aryl, -OR 8>, -SR 8>or -NR 8>R 9>; or R 6>R 7> : 2-10C-divalent radical optionally having O or S, where a part of the divalent radical is an optionally substituted 5-7-membered ring; either R 8>, R 9> : a hydrocarbyl radical; or R 8>R 9> : alkylene radical, where a part of alkylene radical is 5-7-membered ring; and X1d : optionally substituted aryl. Independent claims are included for: (1) the preparation of (I); (2) an adduct (AD) obtained by reacting (I) with at least a compound (VB) containing at least one, preferably at least two reactive groups, where the reactive groups are isocyanate, isothiocyanate, cyclocarbonate, epoxide, episulfide, aziridine, acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, 1-ethynylcarbonyl, 1-propynylcarbonyl, maleimide, citraconimide, vinyl, isopropenyl or allyl; (3) an isocyanate-containing composition comprising containing at least one polyisocyanate, and at least one hardener compound having at least two reactive groups comprising primary or secondary amino-, hydroxyl- or mercapto-groups, provided that the polyisocyanate and/or the hardener compound is (I), an adduct (AD1) having at least two amino groups of formula (-NH-CH 2-C(R 1>)(R 2>)-CH(R 3>)-X) (XII) or an adduct (AD2) having at least two isocyanate; and (4) an epoxy resin compositions comprising at least one epoxy resin and (I).
