Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a bending force which acts on a crank shaft resulting from the drive of an auxiliary machine.SOLUTION: An alternator 14 and an air conditioner 15 are arranged at both sides which interpose a crank shaft 7, and the alternator and the air conditioner are driven by a crank pulley 2 via independent belts 23, 24. A dynamic valve mechanism is driven by the crank shaft 7 via a timing chain 9. The alternator 14 and the air conditioner 15 are arranged so as to be sorted to the left and right at a height lower than the crank shaft 7. A spring-type auto-tensioner 25 abuts on an air conditioner belt 24, and an electric or hydraulic remote controllable active tensioner 27 abuts on an alternator belt 23. The auto-tensioner 27 is provided with a tension detection sensor (pressure sensor) 34 which detects a reaction force of the air conditioner belt 24, and F2 and F3 are maximally equalized by controlling the active tensioner 27 on the basis of a value of the tension detection sensor 34.
