Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition for impact press work, which has excellent workability, the residue of which is cleaned easily without generating dust in a working environment, after working is completed, and which has a low possibility of exerting a bad influence on properties of a battery even when a part produced by the impact press work is used as a battery housing and a lubricant component remains in the battery housing.SOLUTION: The lubricant composition for impact press work is an aqueous lubricant composition containing 5-35 wt.% of a powder lubricant, 0.5-5 wt.% of a film forming agent and 5 wt.% or lower of a surfactant. The powder lubricant comprises the wax having 120-170°C melting point and 20 μm or smaller average particle diameter (median diameter) when measured by laser diffraction. The film forming agent comprises one or more water-soluble polymers selected from the group consisting of polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinylpyrrolidone, methylcellulose, hydroxyethylcellulose, carboxymethylcellulose, sodium polyacrylate, poly(acrylic acid) and polymeric polysaccharides. Each of the powder lubricant, the film forming agent and the surfactant does not contain metallic elements.
