Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire simulation model creation method which can suppress lengthening of calculation time while suppressing lowering of analysis accuracy.SOLUTION: A tire simulation model creation method includes a procedure in which a first part and a second part that is adjacent to the first part in the tire circumferential direction are set on a tire, and a procedure in which the first part and the second part are divided into elements respectively, to create a finite element model of the tire that can be analyzed by a computer. The procedure to create the finite element model includes implementation of element division so that the size of the two dimensional shape of the elements of the first part and the size of the two dimensional shape of the elements of the second part, at a meridian cross section passing through a rotation axis of the tire, are different from each other.
