Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grommet capable of avoiding failure, such as curling of a seal lip when high pressure liquid is injected.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a grommet which is constituted of: a cylindrical support member 10 which is mounted in and fixed to a cable lead-in hole 2a penetratingly formed through a vehicle body panel 2; and bottomed cylindrical seal members 20 which are arranged overlapping each other so as to surround a portion of the support member 10 facing outside the vehicle and supported elastically into contact with a vehicle outer hole edge 2c of the cable lead-in hole 2a via the support member 10. At one end (upper end) of a cylindrical part 21 to surround the support member 10, an inner and outer double seal lip 22 is provided which liquid-tightly holds between the cable lead-in hole 2a, and at a vehicle's outer side position than an outside seal lip S1 in the outer periphery of the cylindrical part 21, a shield rib 25 is provided which shields the seal lip S1.
