Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source unit capable of easily dealing with any change in the type of a light source main body.SOLUTION: A light source unit includes: an LED 31; a light guide 50; and a storage member 35 storing therein the LED 31 and the light guide 50. The light guide 50 includes: a light guide main body 51; and a light guide auxiliary part 71. The light guide auxiliary part 71 includes: an auxiliary-part light incidence surface 71 on which light emitted from a light-emitting surface 31A is incident; and an auxiliary-part light-emitting surface 71B emitting the light incident on the auxiliary-part light incidence surface 71A. The light guide main body 51 includes: a main-body light incidence surface 52A on which the light emitted from the auxiliary-part light-emitting surface 71B is incident; and a first light-emitting surface 53A emitting the light incident on the main-body light-incidence surface 52A. Furthermore, the light guide auxiliary part 71 is configured to change directivity of the light emitted from the light-emitting surface 31A of the LED 31.
