Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loop-type heat pipe capable of improving cooling efficiency by reducing a pressure loss of a liquid-phase working fluid flowing from a condenser to an evaporator, and improving a circulation property of the working fluid.SOLUTION: A loop-type heat pipe 1 includes: an evaporator 2 to which heat is transferred from the external to change a phase from a liquid-phase working fluid to a vapor-phase working fluid; a condenser 3 to which the vapor-phase working fluid is supplied from the evaporator 2 and which radiates heat of the vapor-phase working fluid to the external to change the phase to the liquid-phase working fluid; a steam pipe 11 for allowing the vapor-phase working fluid to flow from the evaporator 2 toward the condenser 3; and a liquid return pipe 9 for allowing the liquid phase working fluid to flow from the condenser 3 toward the evaporator 2. The evaporator 2 has a first wick 13 through which the liquid-phase working fluid supplied from the liquid return pipe 9 penetrates, and the first wick 13 is disposed in contact with an opening portion 18 opened to an evaporator 2 side in the liquid return pipe 9.
