Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily, inexpensively and highly accurately calibrate a captured image for a measurement when measuring parameters for spectacles, while reducing a burden of a subject as much as possible.SOLUTION: An independent type measurement assist device 1 as an assist device for measuring parameters for spectacles is used when measuring parameters for spectacles of a subject wearing a spectacle frame F. The independent type measurement assist device 1 includes: a measurement reference part 2 that includes an imaging object surface O imaged along with the face of the subject in a state of wearing the spectacle frame F, for measuring the parameters for spectacles, and a measurement reference scale S having a prescribed size, on the imaging object surface O; and a pedestal part 3 that is configured to, when the measurement reference part 2 is held, freely fix the measurement reference scale S in such an arrangement that the measurement reference scale S in the measurement reference part 2 and at least one of the spectacle frame F and the subject's face have a prescribed physical relationship, while being mutually in noncontact with each other.
