Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum strip coated with a sorption layer comprising a binder and a sorbent and a method of using the aluminum strip.SOLUTION: An aluminum strip of the present invention, which is coated with a sorption layer having constant performance characteristics with respect to the sorption of, for example, water vapor, by a method having excellent cost effectiveness, is obtained by applying a suspension comprising a liquid, at least one binder formed as a solid, and a sorbent to an aluminum strip by a coil coating process, and subjecting the aluminum strip to a drying process together with the applied suspension to evaporate the liquid in the suspension and activate the binder in the drying process.
