Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a staff member to appropriately unlock a lock provided in a place where a nurse call is made when necessary and at a required timing.SOLUTION: A control device 9 unlocks an electric lock 6 when detecting that a nurse call is made by nurse call slave units 4 and 5, and also that a radio wave is received by a radio receiver 8 provided to a door from a radio transmitter 7 carried by a staff member so that the electric lock 6 is not unlocked simply by making a nurse call, but the electric lock 6 is unlocked only when a radio wave transmitted by the radio transmitter 7 carried by the staff member is received by the radio receiver 8, thereby preventing the electric lock 6 from being unlocked before the staff member arrives. Also, even if the radio transmitter 7 carried by the staff member is brought close to the radio receiver 8, the electric lock 6 is not unlocked when a nurse call is not made, thereby preventing the lock from being unlocked simply by the staff member's passing in front of the door.
