PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for use in covering a portion of a fastener protruding from a surface.SOLUTION: A system 220 includes a cap 250 that has an interior 252, a base 258 that at least partially delimits the interior 252, and pawls 264 disposed on the interior 252. The system 220 also includes a tooth 230 configured to cooperate with a fastener 210, and configured to positively engage the pawls 264.
