Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a recording medium, where the number of copious game media can be illegally identified, from being used.SOLUTION: A recording medium is received and there is performed a counting process for counting the number of game media, which are usable in a game, as the number of possessed game media. After that, a dividing operation for dividing the number of the possessed game media is received. When the dividing operation is received, the number of the possessed game media, which is obtained by the counting process, is divided and each divided number of the possessed game media is processed so as to be identified by the received recording medium, and it is determined whether or not the number of the possessed game media obtained by the counting process has reached a prescribed number (step Sb 14). When the number of the possessed game media has reached the prescribed number, division of the number of the possessed game media by the dividing operation is restricted (step Sb 15).
