Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive coating device capable of properly coating adhesive even when a paper sheet is conveyed in a skew state, a bookbinding device and an adhesive coating method using these devices.SOLUTION: An adhesive coating device includes: a conveyance section for conveying a paper sheet; an adhesive coating section with an adhesive coating nozzle 41 for coating adhesive on the paper sheet conveyed by the conveyance section; a skew sensor 40 which is provided on the paper sheet conveyance direction upstream side with respect to the installation position of the adhesive coating nozzle 41 in a conveyance passage of the paper sheet so as to detect skew of the conveyed paper sheet; and a control section for controlling a discharge operation of the adhesive of the adhesive coating nozzle 41 on the basis of the detection result of the skew sensor 40.
